Happiness is when the code works as expected.

Like many of you, I do not know all the technical ins and outs of my own website. I rely completely on my webmaster for help with that. However, I do know enough about HTML to be able to deal with most things that need attention on my blog and other communications I share with you. What a difference it makes to my productivity!

(Prior to learning more about that and developing some basic coding skills, I was simply at a complete loss whenever something went wrong. And I HATED it!)

Now, some of you might be in the dark as I was years ago and interested in learning how to become more independent in this regard too. And for those who are really keen to get into coding their own websites or possibly creating an additional source of revenue by working on other business owners’ websites, I have come across a fabulous resource for you.

It’s called codecademy — the place where 25 million people have learned how to code interactively absolutely free. Simply amazing! Fun too. It would have saved me hours of book learning if only it had been available when I needed it. But, it’s here now and I encourage you to take advantage of it. (You’re welcome!)

More next time. Until then, remember to LOVE YOUR WORK, whatever it may be.
